In an evolving world, emerging research continues to highlight concerns that could impact everyday wellbeing. Here’s the key update you should know about:
Salman Khan’s Galwan Mumbai schedule called off:
Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, has seen a major change in its filming plans. The movie was initially slated to begin its first schedule in Mumbai this August, but the makers have now decided to skip that and head straight to Ladakh for the second schedule.
According to a source quoted by Mid-Day, this shift is a “creative decision” aimed at ensuring both continuity and impact in the action-heavy sequences.
The Ladakh shoot will feature intense war action scenes, which the makers felt would set the tone for the film. Salman Khan is sporting a distinctive look for his role, and the team believed that a 30-day gap between the Mumbai and Ladakh stints could disrupt visual continuity. “Apoorva felt that the sequences needed to be shot back-to-back, so they decided to start with Ladakh instead,” the source added.
As a result, the Mumbai schedule has been postponed indefinitely. The production team will reassess later in the filming process to decide whether a song sequence or patchwork shots need to be done in the city.

Galwan, which also stars Chitrangda Singh, is expected to deliver a gripping storyline inspired by themes of patriotism and conflict, with Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes serving as a cinematic backdrop for its large-scale action scenes. The film is targeting a release in the second half of 2026, and with Salman Khan leading the charge, expectations are high for a grand and impactful war epic. Meanwhile, Khan has allotted dated for Bigg Boss Season 19, so he will be busy shooting for the reality show this month.
